Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Post Closing/Funding Manager, the Mortgage post closer is responsible for post-closing review on retail and wholesale loans.  Responsibilities include:

Review closed loan documentation.  Stack file. Performs post –closing reviews on residential loans.  Reviews for completeness, conducts re-verification of loan file documents, document review, compliance review (MFC, Investor, regulatory requirements), and credit and appraisal review.  Reviews process and procedures to ensure compliance.  Reports findings and exceptions or problems to management. 

Job Requirement

Preferred experience

Candidate with experience in FHA, Freddie, Fannie and appraisal review desired.  Strong organizational skills a must.

Minimum requirements

The qualified applicant has a high school diploma and at least 3 years of Mortgage lending experience specifically post closing and funding.  Thorough knowledge of lending including operations, regulatory, investor requirements and internal polices.
