Clayton is seeking Mortgage Processors in Tampa, FL who have closing experience. Responsibilities include reviewing HUD-1, title policy, and other mortgage documents for underwriting guidelines. Review VOE (verification of employment), VOD (verification of deposits) and gather information to support mortgage closing process. Ensure data integrity of all data and process inputs. Order necessary documents. Communicate with customer and ensure appropriate levels of satisfaction are achieved. Interacting with Underwriter/Closer/etc to resolve file discrepancies and, as necessary provide required documentation. Manage pipeline of loans. Follow-up with vendors to obtain required documentation. Perform basic mortgage calculations to validate score based on approval. Establish closing & prepare/forward closing documents. Verify funding and forward to Post Funding.
' 2+ years in the residential mortgage industry
' Doc Magic experience preferred
' Ability to calculate DTI & LTV
' Knowledge and familiarity with current mortgage and compliance
laws and regulations
' Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction
' Effective leadership skills
' Service oriented
' High producer with attention to quality
' Excellent time management skills
' Superior verbal and written communication skills
