Looking for an opportunity to be a key contributor for a local bank?  Our client is looking for a REO specialist with two to five years of mortgage liquidation experience that wants to work in a growing community bank in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

Job Description

This person is a member of a small core special assets group and will be part of a team contributing to the liquidation of bank owned real estate collateral.

·         Communicates with outside vendors, realtors, title companies, appraisers and attorneys for the purpose of liquidating the REO collateral

·         Reviews appraisals, BPO’s and CMA’s to determine the net realizable value

·         Creates, completes and maintains internal reports on established time intervals

·         Reviews and understands purchase agreements and title conveyance documents

·         Reviews REO portfolio to maintain property preservation

·         Communicates with outside vendors, appraisers, building contractors for the purpose of completing construction or property preservation

·         Works to complete construction or repairs when and where approved

·         Files claims for hazard and mortgage insurance and follows for payment

·         Assists with special projects as needed

Requirements

An excellent candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

·          High school diploma or equivalent

·          Minimum two years of mortgage foreclosure experience

·          Thorough knowledge of bank operations, tax and accounting affecting other Real Estate Owned property

·          Microsoft Office software

·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Highly organized and able to plan effectively

Compensation

• Hourly with a range of $15.00 to $18.00
