Looking for mortgage underwriter who has had at least three full years of experience working with either a local New York based bank or Manhattan based mortgage brokerage firm. Said individual must have an excellent working knowledge of current co-op and condo guidelines, including thorough understanding of said co-op and condo questionnaires.

Preferably, this person should have top notch knowledge of running all automated underwriting engines. Most importantly, though, said individual must be able to work within a very organized and detailed work flow, following strict adherence to an already extremely successful paper flow from origination to closing. Candidate must be able to work in a team setting, and report to and follow directions from both the senior loan officer and to the team leader/loan coordinator.

Individual must know how to take a loan from the loan originator to "stip" file and then send to bank. Constant communivation via phone and email with customers is an absoulte.
