Complete complex, responsible and somewhat specialized clerical work, under limited supervision, in one or more operations functions within Mortgage Servicing. Complete specialized research to resolve problems. Assist in providing guidance and training to less experienced personnel. Complete other responsibilities, as assigned. Complete duties involving complex, responsible and somewhat specialized clerical work in one or more operations functions within Mortgage Servicing, under limited supervision. Use judgment and initiative to complete assigned tasks based on guidelines and procedures established with limited supervision. Complete necessary research to resolve inquires, problems, and discrepancies found with in Loss Mitigation deals and assignments. Work professionally with outside agencies, such as but not limited to attorney offices, Private Investors, and MI Companies.
Complete, verify and confidentially assist with completion of deals. PC knowledge with exposure to Fidelity, IAW, Microsoft Excel, word processing and general office equipment. Have strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and have exceptional communication skills. Closely work with other departments (investor accounting, foreclosure, & escrow). Complete work accurately, and efficiently. Maintain production and quality standards to meet department goals. Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years proven mortgage servicing operations experience or equivalent
- Proven communications, typing and organizational skills
