Multi-craft Electrical/Mechanical Technician

Currently, we are seeking a Reliability Technician for our Beech Island, SC location.

Summary: Basic job functions include assuming maintenance ownership of all assigned asset areas while providing technical support to operations personnel, and performing other maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Two years of industrial experience
- Be willing to work 12 rotating shifts

Preferred:
For Primary Electrical candidates:
- Allen Bradley PLC: PLC5, PLC3, and Control Logix
-Allen Bradley drives: AB1333, AB1394, AB1398,AB1305
-Reliance Drives: AMX Version 3 and 4 programming software
-DC and AC drive motors, encoder, and resolver troubleshooting
-Medium voltage switchgear (2300V)
- General mechanical knowledge

For Primary Mechanical candidates:
- Use of machinist tools/equipment
- Machine to close tolerances .0005 inch or better
- Read and interpret machine drawings
- Component fabrication and assembly
- Mechanical repairs and rebuild of all types of pumps and gearboxes
- Millwright abilities (setting pumps and coupling alignment)
- General metal and pipe welding (stick, tig, mig, soldering and brazing)
- General technical knowledge of electrical systems
