About the Job
Franklin American Mortgage Company, one of the largest mortgage bankers in the country, is
currently seeking a talented and experienced
Multimedia Designer/Developer withexperience in web and print design to join our marketing team. The individual must be a
team player with experience in web interface design and development as well as all aspects
of print design media. Candidate will work directly with the VP of Marketing as well as
marketing team and be responsible for corporate multimedia design and development
including project management.
Candidate will work with different divisions daily to implement new and existing projects.
Position includes unique opportunities to design and develop corporate marketing materials.
This is an exciting, fast-paced position where creative thinking is encouraged.
Our ideal candidate will possess a very creative skill set with the ability to innovate and create
unique designs.
Minimum Requirements:
•
Bachelor’s degree in design or related field.•
Three to five years of experience.•
Impressive Web and print portfolio that demonstrates strong design skills.•
Comfortable working in a PC-based environment.•
Proficiency in the following software:o
Adobe CS3 Master Collection (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop,Illustrator, In Design, After Effects, Premier)
o
Adobe Acrobato
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)•
Working knowledge of the following:o
FTPo
JSPo
HTMLo
Internet and email applications, (Outlook, Thunderbird) for creating anddeploying graphic HTML email campaigns.
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.•
Ability to follow/execute corporate design standards.•
Must be team oriented with exceptional communication skills.•
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
Beneficial, but not required:

Advanced HTML knowledge•
Experience with Flash video format (FLV), optimization and deploying video online•
Video editing experience•
Search engine optimization experience•
Experience in the mortgage industry•
Corporate environment experience a plus•
Advanced Powerpoint presentation knowledge
