We are currently looking for a Multimedia Specialist in our Manchester, NH office. This position is responsible for recommending the appropriate technology and architecture for projects (Flash, 3d programs, video) and is primarily responsible for the creation and development of graphics and development of online learning products (illustrations, graphics, 3d character models/animation, simulations, online games). This position is also responsible for:

• Instructional design development through collaboration with content writers to recommend and create best learning, experiential and visual solutions for online learners.
• Video – produce and edit video footage for training purposes. This includes making training cd’s and dvd’s.
• Create and coordinate activities across all areas of creative development for online learning including creation of new media content in Flash, including reusable components for use with outsource development, new illustrations and graphics for product concepts, revisions and enhancements to existing product media, incorporation of usability and market feedback into product lifecycle, and any sales or marketing collateral required to bring products to market.
• Communicate with Content and Team Leaders as well as Project Managers, internal clients as appropriate and other internal stakeholders.

Specific duties include:

1. Design and develop courses and create graphics and animations for online courses.

2. Program and architect with computer programming languages, such as ActionScript to create reusable and dynamic activities, exercises and games for online courses and supportive documents.

3. Design in collaboration with writers and project managers on design concepts and recommend best solutions, and most appropriate technology and architecture for projects.

4. Produce, edit and manipulate sound and video files for use in online courses, cd, and dvd training.

5. Responsible for quality control of online content. Consists of thorough testing of materials.

6. Responsible for maintaining and organizing all digital, visual and audio assets used in development projects.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree; plus 1 year training experience developing multimedia projects. Computer skills required (proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Products, SCORM, XML, and HTML) knowledge of the latest training technology such as synchronous and asynchronous online training.
