* Primarily responsible for providing production support activities for Laboratory Information System (LIS). These activities include:

o Proactively monitor LIS to identify and repair production support problems

o Open, Accept, Maintain and Close system tickets within specified service level agreements.

o Perform data extractions and restores.

o Periodically verify communication protocols between various sub-systems and perform reconciliation tasks when necessary.

o Execute Daily Task Schedule.

o Work closely with Production Support Technical Lead.

o Continually seek to remedy recurring support issues through innovation and automation.

Required Knowledge:

* Strong working knowledge of MUMPS/DSM.
* VMS Operating System (limited)
* DCL/Command Procedures (limited)
* Ability to translate user requirements and implement.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Highly accountable and ownership driven.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Lead or participated in execution of project management methodologies.
* Proficient in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
* Strong customer service skills are a must.

Required Experience:

Specific and amount of on the job experience.
* 5-7 years MUMPS/DSM Programming experience.
* 1-2 years VMS, DCL, Command Procedures.
* 1-year of Project Management methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to lead complex programming projects through to completion.
