Mutual Fund Valuation Administrator

Great-West is currently hiring for an analytical position within our Investment Operations area.  The Mutual Fund Valuation Administrator ensures that the daily functions of mutual fund pricing, unit value calculations and dividend/capital gain distributions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Work schedule 11:00 - 7:30 p.m. (overtime required if necessary).

Primary Responsibilities

• Calculate and/or load daily share prices, unit values and dividend/capital gain distributions into accounting and trading systems.
• Research and reconcile trial balance and/or dividend payment discrepancies.  When appropriate, makes adjustments to clear differences.
• Research and reconcile daily separate account assets and liabilities.
• Prepare various monthly, quarterly and/or daily financial and regulatory reports for internal and external clients.
• Assist in various departmental projects, including but not limited to system upgrades/conversion, conversions of new business and streamlining of processes.

Background and Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum one (1) year of mutual fund back-office operations experience
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and/or Access.
• Someone who thrives in a team oriented environment.

 This position requires submission of fingerprints to the NASD.
