Responsibilities


  • Works with account technologists to develop detailed insight in roadmap needs (N+2 focus) of chip manufacturers, specifically in the field of NAND Flash extensions, including but not limited to 3D device structures.

  • Participates in strategic planning to integrate these needs into the product/process roadmap of associate Business Units.

  • Provides leadership (direction, buy-in, execution) to process technology managers in the area of long-term strategy.

  • Provides leadership (direction, buy-in) for alpha-engineering program regarding all process technology related issues.

  • Interacts with customers on process issues involving the unit's product line.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: 


  • Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge), and 12+ years directly related experience; or MS in Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 9+ years directly related experience; or, preferred, PhD in Engineering discipline with a total of 9+ years experience in the field.

  • Experience typically includes more than 5 years in a management capacity.

  • Preferred previous work experience: engineering experience with a semiconductor or capital equipment background
