About the Job
Quantum Tech Staffing is seeking a .NET/C#/SQL Software Engineer for a permanent position in Columbia, MD.
As a Software Engineer, your focus will be on developing, testing and maintaining critical enterprise B2B/back-end solutions and implementation of custom application development for high volume, performance intensive, scalable and robust systems using Microsoft technologies. You will demonstrate excellent architecture and design skills, debugging skills to maintain and repair existing applications, proven experience in SDLC and knowledge of project methodologies. This position is not for front-end/asp.net platforms.
Requirements:
o Minimum of 6 years’ EXPLICIT experience in application development and system analysis for back-end processes/systems
o Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MS SQL Server 2005/2008 to develop high performing & optimized stored procedures, functions and triggers procedures.
o Minimum of 5 years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in C# .Net Framework 3.0 and above for back-end processes/systems only EXCLUDING an asp, asp.net, and UI experience.
o Minimum of 5 years demonstrated strong knowledge in Object Oriented Development and patterns to design flexible enterprise.net platforms and frameworks
o Drive quality throughout the SDLC process include code review, automated unit and integration testing, continuous integration and performance monitoring.
o 2+ years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in two or more of the following development methodologies:
- ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL, LINQ to Objects and LINQ to Entities.
- NHibernate, LLBLGen or Entity Frameworks
- WCF
- XML REST and SOAP based services
- SSIS ETL packages
o SSRS Reporting
