Deloitte Consulting's dynamic Federal Practice based in Washington D.C. and the surrounding Metropolitan area has opportunities for you to become part of their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in financial management, business process improvement, strategy and operations, information systems development, package implementation, enterprise transformation, business process and applications outsourcing, and a full range of human capital advisory services.
 
Performance Profile:
• Developing with Microsoft development languages (VB.net, C#, ASP.net, JavaScript, etc.) against Oracle databases.
• Web development and portal development.
• Providing information architecture expertise in the integration of information across systems.
• Applying information architecture to the design of portal applications and services.
• Designing enterprise-level and within-site navigation that meets user and business requirements.
• Collaborating with
product managers and development teams to negotiate design feasibility.
• Contributing to the development of enterprise standards, models, and guidelines including metadata architecture and methods for classification (e.g., taxonomies, ontologies, tagging, etc.).
•  Suggesting ways to leverage current technologies (e.g., web services, RSS, etc.) to integrate intranet content and gain efficiency.

 
· 2-3 years of Web development and design.
· 2-3 years of  .NET
· 2-3 years of MS Access
· Technical certifications in web design and development
· 1-2 years Intel/AMC based hardware Windows or Unix operating systems
· 1-2 years Programming languages/web applications such as HTML, CSS, Java, Servlets, JSP, PHP, SQL, XML, XSL, JavaScript
· 1-2 years Database applications (e.g. Access)
