I.  General requirements:

*  US Citizen or Green Card or EAD (do not apply if you have an L1, F1, or H4)
*  You live in the USA and you will move to Knoxville, TN

II.  Technical requirements:

*  10 - 15 yrs IT
*  3 - 5 yrs as an IT Manager or Director
*  Domain forte must be in Mfg
*  Client uses INFOR Systems 21 (JBA) as their main ERP and you must have experience working in IT/Mfg companies running INFOR as the main ERP...zero negotiation
*  If you have the INFOR/JBA experience you will have the other requirement which is strong AS/400 experience

III. Duties:

*  Reports to the CEO. 
*  Evaluate, recommend and implement new software, networking systems, telecommunications products and equipment, consistent with the organization’s needs and objectives. 
*  Install, maintain and monitor operation of local and wide area network systems, IBM iSeries, including hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, and printers, internal boards and drives as well as other communications equipment such as phone systems, and PDA's. 
*  Develop and implement preventive maintenance and disaster recovery programs for computers, software and related equipment. 
*  Provide leadership and support of business goals by analyzing IT projects and implementing solutions that meet business needs
*  Skilled in defining business needs and recommending multiple solutions for projects, including project and budget development for such solutions.
*  Follow industry and facility procedures and practices to install and maintain computer software and networking capabilities. 
*  Develop and implement preventive maintenance program for computers and related equipment.
*  Train users in proper utilization of computer and software packages. 
*  Evaluate and recommend new software, networking systems, telecommunications products and equipment, consistent with the organization’s needs and objectives.
* Create system policies and controls to ensure data accuracy and security.
* Maintain security of all computer systems and related data, and provide access to such information as directed by management
*  Ensure proper backup and storage of all company computer files
*  Negotiate contracts with vendors and consultants for services and purchases of all computer related items
