Primary Responsibilities:
• Participate in client-facing application and/or UI development from inception to final delivery while adhering to “look and feel” of applications already in place.
• Produce documentation and/or work with Senior Developer to prepare documentation for new applications.
• Perform and oversee activities related to day-to-day application maintenance and updates.
• Provide technical support in resolving performance issues and optimizing code.
• Participate in end-user meetings to answer technical questions and/or review capabilities.
• This position will report to a Senior .Net Applications Developer.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, with front-end UI, required.
Minimum of 8+ years and a college degree to hit the top of the salary range.
• Knowledge and experience with (Required):
o ASP.Net C# (Visual Studio 2008/10)
o TSQL (MS SQL 2005 & SQL Server Management Studio 2005 )
o JavaScript
o CSS
o HTML
• Knowledge and experience with (Preferred):
o JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, ExtJS or JSON
o LINQ
• Experience with UI design and implementation a MUST.
• Experience with back-end/database programming a plus.
• Excellent planning, logical thinking, time management, verbal/written communications, decision-making and organizational skills.
• Experience understanding and implementing business requirements (experience writing technical documentation is a plus).
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision once deadlines and requirements have been established.
• Ability to work constructively and effectively as part of a team that services external clients.
• Ability to maintain quality and efficiency when working on time sensitive changes and/or during high-pressure situations.
• Ability to identify and analyze a problem and propose solutions.
