* Web development and portal development. * Providing information architecture expertise in the integration of information across systems.
* Applying information architecture to the design of portal applications and services.
* Designing enterprise-level and within-site navigation that meets user and business requirements.
* Collaborating with product managers and development teams to negotiate design feasibility.
* Contributing to the development of enterprise standards, models, and guidelines including metadata architecture and methods for classification (e.g., taxonomies, ontologies, tagging, etc.).
* Suggesting ways to leverage current technologies (e.g., web services, RSS, etc.) to integrate intranet content and gain efficiency.
