NETWORK SPECIALIST

**This positon is pending contract award.**

TYBRIN is currently seeking a Network Specialist at Langley AFB, VA. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide system/network advice and augmentation on site.

  • Provide direct support where no military technicians are assigned.

  • Provide on the job training to technicians, as required, with primary expertise in hardware maintenance.

  • Assist government in the development/correction of procedural checklists to operate and support the system by site personnel when technical data is unavailable or inadequate.

  • Perform enhanced organizational level maintenance activities and documents those activities in accordance with the Work Description Document (WDD) as required to include logistics support for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf equipment repair and replacement.

  • Provide configuration and management of network components.

Experience Required:

  • 3 years of specific experience and 5 years of general work experience

  • Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 Level II certification within 6 months of start

  • Must have the ability to analyze, configure and troubleshoot network devices and software

  • Must have effective written and presentation skills

  • Preferred experience working on DoD classified networks a plus
