Our Outside Sales Consultants are responsible for developing new business in their assigned territory, ensuring high levels of retention with current accounts, and building strong district relationships. This will be achieved through focusing heavily on face-to-face meetings, competition accounts, and aggressive self-lead generation. The Outside Sales Consultant maintains a strong relationship with each educator through consistent and collaborative contact while working closely with other departments to ensure strong customer service and flawless tour production.
Responsibilities : - Meet or exceed acquisition and retention goals
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with each Group Leader
- Work with individual Group Leaders to create and develop an educational tour itinerary
- Be the voice of the customer - communicate customer needs back to home office
- Contribute to the sales team through sharing strategies and helping others on the team
- Partner with the Tour Consultant to provide the best possible tour experience
Qualifications: You are a real team player who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. You take a creative and cheerful approach to problem-solving. You are comfortable with cold calling and confident in your communication. You possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, demonstrated by strong academic qualifications. Most importantly, you're enthusiastic about international travel because youve had a few unforgettable travel experiences yourself. You will work closely with your colleagues in Denver, Boston and overseas, so a commitment to teamwork, flexibility and goal achievement is essential. International and/or domestic travel experience preferred.
- Proven track record of success in outside sales. 2+ years experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of fundamental sales methodology
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to present in small and large groups

- Ability to balance customer's needs with company's bottom line
- Travel is required. Must be able to drive and own a car
