We have opened a state of the art plasma donation facility in Newport News, VA and thus we are seeking to fill the Assistant Center Manager position. The Assistant Center Manager position is tasked with compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual guidelines and maintaining thorough familiarity with all State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved SOP Manuals, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal company procedures. -You will monitor, evaluate, and lead all center operations, reporting to the Center Manager.
-You will maintain thorough familiarity with and ensure compliance of State and Federal regulations (OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP.)
-You will be responsible for preparation of personnel staffing scheduling.
-You will assist in personnel hiring and training.
-You will supervise donor selection, plasma collection and shipment, and records completion to maintain highest production standards.
-Most importantly, you will maintain an active presence on the donor center floor observing and assisting workflow.
We prefer that you have a four year degree in a Science or Business related field, with six months of plasma experience preferred. If you have a prior medical or nursing background with one year of plasma experience, we want to talk to you!
To be successful in this role you must be detail oriented. You must be customer service focused as plasma donors are critical to the success of the center. You must have strong leadership, motivation, and organizational skills. Lastly, strong computer skills and legible handwriting are a must!
