NOC TECHNICIAN II

Laurel, NJ has an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated, organized technology professional with 3-5 years network experience to monitor the operation of applications, infrastructure and peripheral systems and maintain network monitoring platforms.

You will perform problem analysis and identify & escalate incidents; maintain operations documentation; perform system backups and restore backup files; maintain operations tools including job schedulers, systems monitoring platforms and print management tools and train and mentor team members.

Position requires strong knowledge of systems monitoring, management applications, scripting languages and programming methodologies; a working knowledge of Windows OS, Cisco and HP networking hardware and an understanding of MS SQL and Oracle database technologies.  Strong communication, customer service, time management and project planning skills along with the ability to work nights and weekends are a must.  Microsoft MCSE certification is a plus.
