Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR NUCLEAR STAFF PHARMACIST AT COVIDIEN/MALLINCKRODT:
Prepare and dispense radiopharmaceuticals.
Coordinate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to customer hospitals.
Assist in the maintenance of the pharmacy’s radiation safety program to insure compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
Supervise pharmacy operations and staff while on duty.
This includes customer orders, radiopharmaceutical dispensing, deliveries and next day set up.
Maintain good customer relations; handle customer orders, requests and complaints.
Participate in rotating weekday and weekend schedule.
Participate in after hours emergency on-call schedule.


Requirements:

Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist preferred but not required.
Meet NRC/State requirements for “Authorized User” of radioactive material or successfully complete company provided training for “Authorized User” status.
Organization skills, computer literate, customer and employee relations.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to a nuclear pharmacy operations.
