*NURSE PRACTITIONER BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT
Job Description:

The Nurse Practitioner will work with an outpatient Oncology population and will assist in the coordination of patient care and treatment plans, which include BMT, chemotherapy and immuno compromised patients. Performs diagnostic bone marrow aspirates and biopsies. Performs stem cell harvests, infusions, mobilization, and collection procedures. Participates in all stem cell inpatient and outpatient transplant quality improvement programs as specified by manager, including but not limited to patient education QA functions and nurse education events.

Current Illinois licensure as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.
Professional certification as a nurse practitioner (or pending exam). CPR certification required; ACLS or PALS certification preferred. Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant experience preferred. Experience in critical care, MICU, ICU, SICU preferred.
