Methodist Health System has been named by the Dallas Business Journal as one of DFW's Top 10 Best Places to Work for six consecutive years, since 2005. In an unprecedented series of accolades this year, it has also been named among the Best Places to Work in North Texas by The Dallas Morning News and at a national level one of only four hospitals in Texas named as a Best Place to Work by Modern Healthcare magazine. Methodist has received the national Premier Award for Quality in maternal and neonatal care and was one of only three hospitals nationwide to receive this recognition.

Methodist has sustained the HealthGrades® Superior Clinical Performance Rating - 5-Stars - for Maternity Care for the past three years (2007/08-2009/10), the only hospital in Dallas to do so. It also received the Texas Hospital Association Excellence in Community Service Award for 2008.

Methodist Health System offers a broad spectrum of health care services with more than 800 independently practicing physicians on our medical staff, representing more than 60 medical specialties. These include extensive cardiac care and cancer services; gastroenterology; neurology; adult kidney, pancreas and liver transplant; obstetrics and gynecology; orthopedics; urology; and bariatric (weight-loss) surgery.
