NY or PA Licensed Surveyor

This individual will be based out of our satellite office location in Elmira, NY.
Qualifications
We have an immediate need for a NY and/or PA Licensed Surveyor. The successful candidate will provide survey services to clients on natural gas transmission and gathering lines in the Oil and Gas Industry. The preferred candidate will have strong experience in the Oil and Gas business with experience working in both the field and the office.
Qualified candidates will have:
• License to practice Professional Land Surveying in New York and/or Pennsylvania (PLS License in NY and/or PA)
• Experience with:
• CADD
• GPS
• Topo/Bondaries/Construction stakeout
• Right of ways
• Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry
• Ability to meet project deadlines within given budget limits and time frames
• Ability and focus on Quality Control/Quality Assurance
• Possess strong technical background
Candidates must also have a willingness to travel extensively as required. Have great communication and client relationship skills. Be a Team Player. Have the desire to succeed and excel in a fast-paced work environment and possess excellent organizational and communications skills
Technical responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Deed Plotting
• Preparation and set-up of survey data for field crews
• Post survey field data analysis
• Construction Layout Calculations
• Boundary Surveys
• Preparation of Metes & Bounds Descriptions
• ALTA/ASCM Land Title Survey Preparation
• Topographic/Volume Analysis
• Construction As-built Surveys and/or Layout Sketches
• Coordination with CAD personnel
• Familiarity with the operation of AutoCAD LDD 2009/Civil 3D software.
