Job Description:
Candidate can live anywhere in the US as long as they live near a major airport.

Overview:
Siemens Infrastructures and Cities is looking for National Account Executive Federal Energy. Under limited supervision, sells energy management products, services and business solutions to the federal government that enable the customer to reduce energy and other operations expenditures. This person reports to the Director of Federal Energy and has no direct reports.

Responsibilities:
Position sells individually and with other Salespeople as appropriate. Able to effectively handle the most sophisticated federal government projects independently within established guidelines with contract vehicles like ESPCs and UESCs. Understands federal government agencies, procurement vehicles and general federal market knowledge to achieve successful goals. Effectively completes utility data analysis, building surveys and needs assessment, financial justification and related proposals and presentations. Obtains notice of intent, task orders and arranges financing. Works with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale. Follows through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Ensures a smooth sales to operations turnover and monitors progress. Assists in resolving installation, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed. Assists customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommends suitable resolutions accordingly. Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking. Participates in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops and seminars. Keeps current on Federal Government market business and product trends. Continues to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills. Develops and deploys account strategies.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
1. Requires a Bachelors degree in engineering, business or a similar field.
2. Must have through understanding of Federal PPP, UESC, PPA, MATOC, IDIQ, EUL’s Contracts.
3. Requires minimum of 5 years experience of Federal Energy Performance Contracting Experience; preferably sales.
4. Specific Federal Agency experience is a plus i.e. government or military experience.
5. Must have a proven track record of success; 20M portfolio minimum.
6. Excellent oral and written skills.
