The National Account Manager is responsible for creating and implementing effective account development and management strategies in order to win strategic revenue opportunities that create mutual value for Override and its partners. Primary responsibilities include: successfully developing and executing strategic account plans; building professional relationships with key executives; identifying short and long-term revenue opportunities; exceeding assigned revenue objectives; and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


 



  • Originate, negotiate, and secure agreements to achieve financial objectives specific to new clients and new projects.

  • Research and qualify new business opportunities in the defined market segments, while successfully executing strategic account plans consistent with the marketing and client services teams

  • Develop business relationships at all levels, across all departments, including sales, sales management, product marketing, procurement, marketing, technical support, e-commerce, and business management.

  • Earn the status of a "Trusted Advisor" in the eyes of the account.

  • Understand the products, territory, accounts, industry, marketplace, business plan, objectives, business drivers, initiatives, requirements and factors critical to success.

  • Creation of account/project P&Ls and analyze ROI on all expenditures.

  • Work with the assigned marketing support team to implement marketing plans.

  • Work with assigned product managers to implement product promotions, and phase plans.

  • Create demand for additional marketing services

  • Accurately forecast account sales and maintain pipeline opportunity reports.

 


Other Responsibilities:


 



  • Act as a liaison between the Accounts and Override AR and AP departments.

  • Work with Chief Marketing Officer  to develop, implement, and review all quarterly business plans.

  • Make recommendations for growing assigned territory, named accounts, and or market segments.

  • Achieve assigned quota goals

 


Qualifications


 



  • BS degree or equivalent.

  • 8-10 years of sales experience in the consumer product good industry

  • Management experiences a plus.

  • Above average PC literacy as well as a thorough understanding of the inner workings of software and computing platforms.
