National Accounts Manager

About the Job

Style Crest Enterprises, Inc., a privately held manufacturer and distributor of Building Products, has an excellent career opportunity available for a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for co-developing and executing business strategies for growth and development of National Accounts.  This role develops and maintains strong business relationships with key individuals of our National Account customers and prospects.  The National Accounts Manager is responsible for the following (but not limited to) activities:

  • Responsible for developing the strategies for National Account customers and prospects for the Residential Housing group.  Establishes long term strategic goals for National Accounts that are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Primary objective is to grow business through development of new and existing National Account relationships.
  • Defines programs that fit customer needs and specific market requirements.
  • Manages pricing, annual rebates, marketing funds and other customer programs.
  • Develops and implements action plans to ensure achievement of goals for the National Account channel.
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships with key individuals within current and prospective National Accounts.
  • Develops annual sales forecast for National Accounts customers and prospects.
  • Creates and implements sales programs and promotions with marketing support to grow the business.
  • Establishes metrics to measure progress of growth goals for all product offerings.
  • Evaluates strategic factors that could impact sales objectives such as sales trends, competition, economic factors, business conditions, changing customer and market needs, and customer strategies.  Makes recommendations for changes and ensures accuracy of information used to make strategic decisions.
  • Communicates proactively with internal groups (operations, inside sales, marketing, credit, finance, and senior management).

 

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.  Demonstrated success in a progressive sales career with at least 8 years of applicable experience preferably with national account responsibility.  Must be a collaborative relationship builder with a strong understanding of business development.  Strong strategic planning, analytical, communication, and problem solving skills are required.  Proficient computer knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Must be willing to travel 3 to 4 nights a week and should live within a 2-hour drive of our corporate office in Fremont, Ohio.
