OneCIS, a division of Bureau Veritas, is currently looking for an Authorized Inspector to handle work in the Appleton, WI area.

 Under direct supervision, the Authorized Inspector performs:

 -Basic inspections of boilers and pressure vessels manufactured by CIS clients to ensure compliance with codes and jurisdictional requirements.

 -Reviews blue prints, manufacturing standards and conducts testing of boilers and pressure vessels.

 -Documents and monitors the quality control system through ASME review and verification process.

 -Ensures compliance with applicable sections of the ASME Code, National Board and jurisdictional requirements for fabrication activities and authorized inspection services

 -Certifies products based on ASME code requirements or submits recommendations for corrective action to ensure compliance with code and jurisdictional requirements.

-Must have the ability to interact with customers.

 -Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 -Demonstrated experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry, such as design fabrication, operation, repair and alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.

 -One to Four years of relevant experience.

 -National Board Commission with A endorsement is a MUST 

 -High School Diploma or equivalent, plus technical training in boiler and pressure vessel inspections.
