National Director of Sales and Marketing

Stable, well-established, customer-focused irrigation company in an expanding mode needs your generalist marketing and hands-on sales management expertise to contribute to the strategic development of this organization.  The opportunity to invest in this entrepreneurial spirited company is available with the ability to earn a significant return on the investment and/or ownership. Knowledge of drip irrigation systems and the farming industry is preferred.  You will work with some of the brightest individuals in the industry and report directly to the Principal.

You will be responsible leading and directing all functional areas related to sales and marketing.

Essential Functions:

·        Verifiable experience as a Sales/Marketing professional of a similar company with revenue in the $2M to $5M range;

·        The ability and desire to invest in your abilities as a growth agent is optional

·        As a possible investor, you would have the opportunity to assist in directing  the financial planning and management processes;

·        Leadership by Example to sales, marketing and customer service departments;

·        Ensure the attainment and production of profitable business to achieve optimal utilization of assets;

·        Establishing and maintaining the organizational integrity;

·        The ability to set up a virtual sales force

·        Create and maintain a dynamic and vibrant sales and marketing environment.

Experience Desired:

·        Fifteen plus years of Sales and Marketing Management duties of similar organizations;

·        Entrepreneurial aptitude in the start up and/or growth of an organization;

·        Hands on experience in establishing new territories

·        Established potential client base with farmers, greenhouse operators, governmental clients is highly preferred;

·        Entrepreneurial spirit to potentially make an investment in your abilities;

·        Strategic and financial modeling and planning/analysis;

·        Results driven leader who can produce consistent results through others;

·        Contacts in the farming and related markets
