National Manager Performance Measurement







This associate will establish framework, set direction, develop, and oversee performance measurement. This includes development of profit models for each product at Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and the measurement of the actual results at the transaction level. Performance will be measured on a risk adjusted basis using an economic capital framework.




Establish framework, develop, and oversee pricing models for each product at TFS. This includes using risk adjusted methods for each product class at TFS. Models will be used for the measurement of asset origination and portfolio management.




Establish framework set direction, develop, and oversee capital management. Ensure that TFS capital is deployed in the most effective and efficient manner for TFS shareholders. Identify value creation / destruction in the origination and portfolio management functions.




Oversee and develop team of highly skilled associates. Develop team to improve financial discipline for delivery of better business results.




Focus:




This position will have an impact on every loan, lease, or insurance product generated by TFS. It is a highly strategic position that will set the expectations for the risk adjust returns required to have a sustainable business model. It will also serve as a catalyst to making TFS a higher performing organization by constructing a framework that identifies value creation across the origination and portfolio management functions in the organization.













TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates should have:




1. History of successful partnership with the business to deliver performance measurement framework




2. Deep knowledge of capital management at a financial service company




3. Deep knowledge of market pricing methodologies and Fund Transfer Pricing techniques




4. Experience working with executive body of financial services firm




Experience:




1. 15+ years in a financial services firm




2. SVP or equivalent managerial responsibility in a financial services firm

3. 10+ years of experience managing a team of associates responsibility for pricing, profitability, and/or performance measurement




4. Experience in oversight / development of the framework for credit, treasury, and/or profitability models




Education:




Bachelors degree required, advanced degree in finance or business preferred but not required




Technical:




1. Experience with FTP or ALM software




2. Experience with ERisk or other economic capital software




3. Proficiency with SAS and/or other quantitative software




4. Experience with data warehouse
