National/Regional Sales Manager "cosmeceutical" industry Dermatology/Cosmetic Skin Care Market Our client, a European based leader in the "cosmeceutical" or non-prescription skin care products developed by prominent European scientists and physicians and marketed through dermatology healthcare professionals is seeking a Regional/National Sales Manager to expand their recently introduced products to the US market. Based in South Florida, the position will be responsible for establishing, developing and managing US sales and marketing strategies for innovative non-prescription products to the dermatologists so they can best care for their patients. The Manager will provide tactical leadership within the US field sales organization. Other responsibilities will include - The Manager must have strong leadership and analytical thinking capability in order to make sound business decisions on a day to day basis
- Development and implementation of a national sales operation containing several regions/territories including hiring of sales representatives starting with the key markets of Miami, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and LA
- Oversee recruiting, staffing, hiring, and training of highly competent Sales Team experienced in selling to physicians and other healthcare professionals. Minimize turnover through selection process, positive leadership and by creating a supportive work environment.
- Sets performance expectations for day-to-day Representative activity, monitors achievement and provides feedback through ongoing discussions and performance feedback and documentation
- Develop, implement and manage sales and marketing plans including budgets, expenses, analyze marketing information and implement the short/long term decisions necessary to produce sales goals
- Identify and remove market barriers to grow revenue, market share, product utilization and increase overall profitability for the company
- Provide ongoing communications and feedback for Sr. European based management and will participate in meetings, as appropriate.
Requirements: - BS/BA Business, Marketing or related science is required
- 4+ years sales and marketing experience including 2+ years related pharmaceutical, OTC or medical products sales calling on physicians is required (preferably with Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons)
- Previous new product launch experience a plus
- Must possess good analytical skills and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare customer relations and product promotion
- Proven management ability including goals/project completion on time delivering high quality results
- Strong initiative with the ability to identify issues and create solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross functionality
- Prefer Bilingual Spanish/English Candidates
