Private Label Manufacturer Seeks National Sales Manager for Household Cleaners & Air Fresheners
About the Job
Private Label manufacturer seeks experienced Sales Manager for household cleaners, detergents, air fresheners, etc. Company designs and manufactures its' own products.
Duties:
Primary duties:
- Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- Assess market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products.
Secondary duties:
- Presentation of the company’s available products to the trade. Target customers should be: retailers, supermarkets, hypermarkets, discounters, hard discounters, convenience shops, drugstores, grocery shops, home accessory shops, gas stations, DIY shops, Automotive shops, etc. Minimum required number of stores per customer should be 500 locations.
- Generate annual sales agreements with customers, in order to manufacture and distribute either under their own private label brand or under our company’s registered brand.
- Follow up as an account manager the re-ordering system, possible complaints, overall customer service.
- Develop product forecasts based on customers’ demand.
- Contributing to our company’s innovation by delivering a product development program to generate consistent sales and profit growth.
- In close co-operation with the Manufacturing function to identify and address properly trade needs / opportunities and to develop proper and competitive pricing and distribution strategies.
- Facilitate speed to market of products.
Required Experience
· Sales training and experience a must.
· Must be willing to travel.
· Demonstrating products, taking orders, following up with customer complaints, requests and after sale service
