About the Job
CodeWeavers, Inc. (www.codeweavers.com) sells innovative software compatibility products allowing Windows software to operate on either Mac OS X or Linux PCs, without the need for a Windows operating system license. 2008 was our best year ever, with significant revenue growth, and we're looking to grow again in 2009 (crappy economy be damned).
We are looking for a national sales rep to join our team. Your job is to accelerate our current momentum and build both inbound and outbound sales. We currently have significant numbers of inbound sales leads that are going uncovered because we have too few resources to follow up on them. You’ll get a friendly, casual, flexible work environment, as well as a comp structure with plenty of upside and no caps. In exchange, you need to be comfortable with a technology that evolves constantly, and can require a somewhat complex, technical sales cycle.
Job Summary:
Work directly with CodeWeavers' VP Sales to grow corporate revenue via product and professional services sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Proactively sell our products (both Linux and Mac) into enterprise accounts
* Generate new sales leads through prospecting and industry activities
* Communicate value proposition at the executive level throughout sales cycle
* Forecast, monitor and achieve sales goals
* Vigorously provide market feedback to Management team to help shape product/services marketing and development
Experience/Education/Skill Set:
* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
* 3-5 years sales experience
* Strong negotiating skills and excellent PC skills
* Technical knowledge and enterprise software sales experience is required
* Ability to perform duties with nominal direction
* Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills
* Familiarity with either Mac and/or Linux OS a serious plus
* Some travel will be required, we anticipate no more than 25%
