National Service Manager – Company Vehicle
The world’s largest wholesale rental company, specializing in aerial lifts and boom trucks, has an immediate opening for a National Service Manager based at the company’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a company that takes care of its employees who form a tight-knit team.
You will be responsible for meeting the company’s needs in relation to the maintenance, repair and safety (including controlling expenses), formulating a budget, working with vendors, customers and a support staff. Specific daily responsibilities include coordination of all maintenance related items for the company’s North American based rental fleet, review and authorization of all repairs, locating appropriate outside repair facilities and negotiating supply agreements.
Preference will be given to local applicants, but all qualified candidates will be considered.
Ideal Candidates will have the following organizational and customer service skills:
ü Experience in managing the repair and maintenance of a large aerial or construction equipment fleet.
ü Knowledge of ANSI standards and the inspection / compliance process.
ü Ability to budget and manage repair costs consistent with the company’s annual budget.
ü Knowledge and experience of managing manufacturer’s warranty claims process.
ü Minimum of ten years’ experience in the fleet maintenance field
ü Minimum of five years managing process and staff
ü Knowledge of remote contracting for maintenance.
ü Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as it related to the management environment.
ü Experience in the aerial and crane rental industry a plus!
