The successful candidate will assist/lead an effort to update and improve Navy policy in the acquisitions arena.  Duties will include quantitative and qualitative analysis is support of program design, solution development, requirements specification and technical / cost evaluation of industry proposals. The candidate will also provide overall Program Management support and Systems Engineering to DoD clients in acquisitions.

This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field and 20 years or more experience with Acquisition Support of US Navy projects with specifc expertise and understanding of the concepts of DoD 5000 and the Navy Gate Process  A deep knowledge of major DoD, military, and IT Programs is also desired
