This is an estimated 3 month contract position with the possibility of an extension, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements:

Software Design Engineer Qualifications:

• 5+ years of development experience on Windows Platforms
  
• Solid experience in .Net framework, C# and SQL
  
• Solid experience in server side coding and solid understanding of Windows Authentication model
  
• A BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  
• Experience in designing robust and scalable software using an asynchronous programming model
  
• Experience in creating software targeted for domain controllers, network security and user authentication
  
• Experience with Exchange server customization and scripting using Power shell commandlets
  
• Good design skills, passion for quality and attention to details
  
• Ability to work across multiple teams, with people of varying styles and managing dependencies efficiently
  
• Good oral and written communication skills
