About the Job
Our client is looking for a developer for help with modifying an existing internal ASP.NET based application and automating some maintenance tasks. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.
Requirements:
Candidate must have at least 5 years experience developing web applications in ASP.NET / VB.NET with MS SQL backend.
Experience creating complex SQL queries and stored procedures is a must.
Other scripting languages for automating maintenance tasks also a requirement (Perl, or Python, or Linux shell scripting, etc).
Knowledge of secure coding practices is required as well as excellent documentation and communication skills.
