Position Description

.Net Developer

Join our innovative team for the following position:

Our client located in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a .Net Developer. In this role you will work on all aspects of software development, including architectural design, user interface development, object-oriented code, unit and integration testing.


Additional responsibilities include: designing, developing, testing, and debugging multi-tier software solutions while following the software development process, coding and configuration management standards; participating in defining user interfaces, gathering technical requirements, writing technical specifications and documentation; providing support for deployment of software to test and production environments; troubleshooting software problems in test and production environments


To succeed in this role you will need the following:

  • Extensive experience in design and development of multi-tiered applications
  • Experience with software development and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft platform with an emphasis on ASP.Net and C#
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2010 Development and Maintenance, and Service-Oriented Architecture concepts
  • Expert knowledge of creating optimized, efficient web applications using the latest Microsoft and other technologies such as AJAX, Silverlight, JavaScript, and XML/XSLT
  • Experience creating SOAP Web Services and WCF Services
  • Strong T-SQL skills with experience developing complex queries and stored procedures in SQL Server 2008 environment
