About the Job
Network Administrator (NA) needed: The NA serves as primary network engineer in a Microsoft Windows environment running Citrix technologies In both wired end wireless configurations. The NA also serves as primary onsite telephony administrator, responsible for the operation, configuration and management of the Avaya PBX and the devices connected to the solution. Education: 2-4 years of higher education with specialized training and experience & information systems required. Bachelors degree preferred. * May substitute an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience. Experience: * 5 years experience in data network environment required. * 3 years experience Windows Server experience required. * Experience in multi-domain, LAN and WAN environments preferred. * Experience managing 802.11 or 802.11n deployments preferred. * Experience managing telephony solutions preferred. * Experience working in a heslthcare environment preferred. * Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following areas: * Expertise in Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 Active Directory * Expertise in DNS, DHCP, WINS, and TCP/IP * Experience in Microsoft applications, i.e.: Exchange, IIS, SQL and Terminal Services * Experience with backup software and recovery procedures. * Knowledge of WAN/LAN technology * Experience with Microsoft monitoring tools * Experience with Dell servers and SAN equipment. * Experience with Citrix Metaframe software * Strong understanding in the area of network security, routing, switch and server configuration and web services * Experience with Internet standards such as HTTP, HTML, FTP and .NET License/Certification: * MCSA or MCSE certification required. * Citrix CCA or CCEA strongly preferred. * CWNA CWSP or Aruba Networks Wireless Certification preferred.
