SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in the Technical department in Operations to provide and maintain highly specialized technology solutions. Have a proven background in network analysis, design, hardware, wireless, CDMA, network applications and integration. With minimal supervision perform a variety of administrative and technical work using defined standards, constraints and system requirements to manage the full life cycle of network administration.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience with voice systems and data networks. Telecommunication and Cisco networking experience required. Working knowledge of Unix and Windows operating system required. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)required. Cisco Certified Network Professional(CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 65 pounds and work with various hand tools. Must be willing to work flexible schedule, which will include nights and weekends.
