JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are currently recruiting for a Network Analyst in our Norcross Fiserv office. This position will be responsible for the following:
Provide 1st level Network support as a member of the network operations center (NOC). Monitor and maintain the network via network management systems / tools. Provide immediate response and investigation/troubleshooting of alerts.
Manage WAN and LAN environments to SLA & OLAs.
Create and Update Standard Operating Procedures.
Interface with internal and external clients, vendors and personnel in an effort to discover and resolve incidents.
Participate in departmental training programs designed to increase the associate's skill level in the technical, career and tools areas.
Create, review and implement Standard changes to various routing, switch, firewall and load balancer platforms.
Provide Tier 1 Support for Firewalls.
Be able to independently process Standard Sniffers/Probes requests for traffic capture and decode.
Represent the network team in meetings and participate in conference calls.
Consistently review, update and resolve Incidents and/or Problems
Consistently review, update and close Work Orders
Consistently review, update and close change controls and change tasks.
Ensure all work is documented including next steps.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience with troubleshooting WAN and LAN connectivity issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Visio Diagramming.
Good oral, written, analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical employees. Experience working as a team member in a technical project environment. Experience defining and creating process and procedure documentation preferred.
CCNA from Cisco desirable.
Experience configuring and independent troubleshooting of Cisco Switches and Routers.
Knowledge of BGP & EIGRP is necessary.
Knowledge of Foundry Load Balancing products is desirable.
Working knowledge of CheckPoint Firewalls is a plus.
HS Degree plus experience or degree. Bachelors Degree Preferred.
