Network Administrator
Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Description:
- Provides level II support.
- Responsible for the incident resolution process.
- Monitors the status and progress toward resolution of all open incidents.
- Keeps affected users informed about progress.
- Escalates the process if necessary.
- Responsible for resolution confirmation and closure of incidents.
- Follows defined processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Listens and responds to instances of dissatisfaction.
- Installs and configures all types of software and hardware.
- Administers Active Directory login accounts, groups and roles. Manages Mailbox, Folder and File Share permissions.
- Documents all changes and configurations made.
- Works with Backup Admin to ensure reliable backups and recovery plans according to usage.
- Responds to system alerts and provides problem details to other staff.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance and proactively monitors counters and conditions.
- Other duties as assigned
- Travel: Up to 25%
Job Requirements:
- Formal training and experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platform (2000/2003), Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Applications(Office Suite, etc.).
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, enthusiastic worker, and fast learner.
