Specifically, you will be called upon to maintain all network servers, services, and applications as you provide daily desktop support to the user population and manage tape backup systems, ASA Firewall, Ironport Spam appliances, and VMWARE ESX environments. Additionally, you will evaluate and recommend, develop, and deploy IT-related solutions.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of 2 years of college or a technical degree; 5+ years of related experience; ability to diagnose hardware, security, and application issues; and the willingness to be hands-on in the support and deployment of network equipment and servers. You must also possess excellent written communication and documentation skills. The ability to research solutions outside your own typical skill set and bilingual English/Japanese fluency would both be strong assets; knowledge of Dell/EMC SANS would be helpful.

Technical requirements include

• Intermediate to advanced skills in network topologies, security, and infrastructure
• Advanced skills with MS Windows server, IIS, SQL, Active Directory, Group Policy, ISA, and Exchange technologies
• Intermediate to advanced sills in DNS, DHCP, HCP, FRS, DFS, remote access, software deployment, and other technology solutions
• Scripting skills to automate tasks and procedures
