• Minimum 5 years of hands on experience
  
• CISCO CCNP technical certification at a minimum
  
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and other routed protocols
  
• Previous experience designing enterprise networks routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routes
  
• Strong knowledge of QoS, Wireless, and VPN technology
  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues in the LAN and WAN environments
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem solving skills are essential
  
• Good writing skills, including the ability to write white papers, document technical designs, and assist with developing proposals are required. Ability to develop clear, concise network diagrams with Visio is important
  
• Good oral communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and department staff are also required
  
• Must possess the ability to work both independently and as a team member
  
• Must be a professional who is friendly, outgoing, polite, enthusiastic, knows how to carry on a conversation with people, and attentive to detail and appearance
  
• Familiarity with Cisco's internal processes, as well as Cisco's current and future products (Communicating with TAC, gain access to technical documentation).
