Work under direction of Senior Network Engineers to gather requirements, design, review and implement complex network solutions for UIT and BU projects and requests.  Involved in reviews of complex network solutions with focus on global network routing and security.    Design solutions for customer change requests.  Learn and adhere to corporate network security guidelines.  Work with Senior network engineers to understand the Unisys network and ensure your actions support the network design guidelines.  Deliver assigned project tasks.  Be a member of multiple teams.  Communicate professionally, clearly and concisely.  Follow all change management and security processes.    Documentation of every network solution, including  implementation and support documentation critical.  Provide input on future network architecture and design principles.  Provide third level network engineering support for incidents.  Handle multiple critical priorities concurrently – making informed decisions on actions and communicating with management to define priorities and escalate as needed.  Being self driven and inquisitive are key qualities for success – knowing what you do not know and consulting with senior engineers is also key.

High School Diploma or GED required. 3+ years directly relevant experience in network engineering and solution design.  Experience with network security.

Self-directed.  Excellent communication and documentation skills.  Demonstrate understanding of adherence to processes and change controls.  Perform as team member in multiple teams concurrently.  Manage multiple priorities and determine when/how to escalate. 

**Cisco Routing, Switching and Security certifications a plus. Checkpoint certifications a plus**
