Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting an enterprise level network for a large state government organization. You will design, administer and maintain the voice and data network environments including Cisco Switches, Firewalls, VLANs, LDAP and Network Wiring. You will provide technical leadership and training on network infrastructure environment and projects as assigned. You will monitor system configuration to ensure system integrity and provide technical expertise, training and administration for IT and Network projects. You will provide systems administration and management functions for server hardware and operating systems as well as provide 3rd-level user support relating to computer hardware and software related issues.
Current technologies: Consist of LAN & WAN Data and Voice Networking, VoIP, Cisco Technologies, Firewall Administration, VLAN and LDAP Administration, and Network infrastructure.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree plus 6 years directly related work experience that includes 4 years in Network technologies and 3 years in a technical lead role
- Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, LAN, WAN and IP Telephony
- Knowledge of Firewall including Cisco PIX Firewall
- Current Cisco or Microsoft Certifications in current technology
- Knowledge of VLAN and LDAP Administration
