Precision Resources is currently assisting a client with their search for an experienced (specialized) Network Engineer to ensure the ongoing operation of their IVR infrastructure and associated applications.

Responsibilities will include:

• Performing periodic system health checks and any remedial actions that might be indicated.
  
• Perform routine maintenance procedures on the file system, database, and IVR software.
  
• Install and configure software updates.
  
• Administer user accounts and access privileges.
  
• Develop, test, and maintain VoiceXML applications.
  
• Generate reports based on operational data.

Qualified candidates will need a minimum of:

• Five years experience in a system administration, operations or developer role.  
  
• Working knowledge of:
  
  
  
  • Red Hat Linux
    
  • IP Networking
    
  • Oracle Databases
    
  • Apache Web Server
    
  • SNMP

• Understanding of fundamental concepts including VoIP and SIP.
  
• Experience with VoiceXML and IVR Systems is highly desirable.
