N-Tier Solutions is presently recruiting for a Network Engineer for a 3 month + contract with our direct client, an international insurance company with offices in Wilmington, DE.

We are seeking a Network Engineer with experience in Active Directory, Windows server, Citrix and scripting. Our infrastructure includes a diverse network of systems and applications including Windows 2003 server, a global Active Directory enterprise that spans multiple sites worldwide, Windows File Services on EMC SAN storage, NetApp NAS file services and a Cisco network backbone.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Installation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of servers
• Participating in design and implementation of new services
• Assisting in evaluation of new tools for supporting infrastructure
• Being responsible for AD and server documentation and configuration control.
The position requires solid organizational and documentation skills, the ability to coordinate and maintain several projects simultaneously, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a professional manner and meet deadlines.
• Some international travel may be required for 1 to 2 weeks at a time.
• After-hours (evenings and weekends) work will be required.
• Change in work schedule may be required as we begin to support international sites.
QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM THE JOB

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
4 - 7 years
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 4 -7 years experience in Information Technology with a proven track record of success and increasing responsibility.
- Experience in a multi-site production Active Directory enterprise.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft 2003 Active Directory, including a thorough understanding of AD concepts and health and performance monitoring of Directory, DNS, and Windows services.
- A good knowledge of Group Policy Objects and Delegation of Administration.
- Experience with Citrix Presentation server strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in a financial services environment a plus
- Experience with SAN or NAS solutions a plus.
- Experience with VMWare, Microsoft SQL, SCCM, Quest Tools and scripting a plus.
