JOB SUMMARY:  The Network Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for managing all internal backups of servers within COMSYS. The position requires someone with a strong customer service orientation, and attention to detail to be successful.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

v      Responsible for enterprise wide backups primarily using VERITAS Backup Exec 12.

v      Manage disk-to-disk-to-tape, and disk-to-tape backup solutions.

v      Manage network and server monitoring systems including Orion, HP SIM.

v      Coordinate offsite tape rotations for local and remote backups.

v      Familiarity with Windows DFS technology a plus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

v      Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field. Advanced degree a plus.

v      1-3 years of experience with an industry standard enterprise backup solution.
