Network Technician - LAN Infrastructure
Network Technician - LAN Infrastructure
Description:
Work for a diversified pharmaceuticals health care company manufacturing medical devices and nutritional products. This is a 12 month contract in the North Chicago area for an experienced Network Technician.
You will configure and perform advanced diagnostics on infrastructure components, repair LAN infrastructure to include cable and fiber, and repair switching and VLAN problems.
You will install LAN switch technology for bridging or routing, perform hardware fault isolation and repair and understand most routing protocols for the LAN and WAN
Candidates must be flexible as there will be shift rotation required and you will work some weekends and some holidays.

Requirements:
Heavy experience networking advanced diagnostics and infrastructure components
Experience repairing LAN Infrastructure to include cable and fiber
Understanding of routing protocols
Ability to work any shift, as well as some weekends and holidays
